public opinion requested

hello blogworld!

this morning i find myself a little bit slap-happy.  i'm so tired that my face hurts.  it's a weird phenomenon to be so exhausted that you can't sleep.  on wednesday night i actually dozed off mid-sentence in a meeting...

so, dear blogworld, what do you suggest?  i'm not interested in the 50 million suggestions i can find online, we all have the same webbernets.  i'm more interested in your personal experiences... what has worked for YOU? a favorite bedtime snack?   a movie that literally bores you to sleep? a snuggle with a t-shirt that smells like someone special?

help me here!

  1. I play computer games, solitaire, etc until I bore myself silly. I also spend time with a crossword book or an author/book I like but have read before.

    Tylenol PM often works but when it doesn't I do have sleeping pills from the Dr. that help. I HATE not being able to sleep but I also know that in order to control my blood sugar and my migraines, I HAVE to get sleep. Otherwise I am a mess so...maybe a Dr. visit is in order. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear!
