driving back from south bend, indiana tonight the sky was dully illuminated with wide shallow bursts of lightning. "dully illuminated"... it wasn't bright but noticeable.
scientists can certainly explain what was going on with the sky, how somehow ice and liquid collide and explode and produce flashes of light.
i however would like to simplify and take it as a reminder that even when it seems "dull" light prevails. darkness cannot continue to consume us forever. light descends from Heaven.
